My Mission
I believe you shouldn’t have to struggle with pelvic health issues on your own or just learn to live with discomfort. I founded Horizon because I wanted to create the kind of care I wish more women had access to — care that goes beyond a quick fix and takes the time to understand what’s really going on.
Pelvic health and postpartum recovery aren’t one-size-fits-all. My goal is to give you a space where you feel heard, supported, and like you finally have someone who is taking the time to understand what you’re experiencing. Most of all, I want you to leave feeling like you understand your body better and have the tools and confidence to get back to the life you want to live.

Meet Dr. Nina
Nina earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University in 2015 and is Board-Certified in Women’s and Pelvic Health Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
Nina has spent the past 10 years working in pelvic health physical therapy, helping patients navigate pregnancy and postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, core weakness, and the process of getting back to the exercise and athletic activities they love.
Her approach to pelvic health is rooted in looking at the whole picture, not just treating the symptoms that brought you in. She combines hands-on treatment with movement and strength-based rehab programming to help you understand what’s happening in your body and make meaningful, lasting progress.
Beyond the Clinic
When she isn't working with patients, Nina loves the simple joys of being back home in Pittsburgh closer to family. She is a wife, a mom to her new baby boy, Grady, and a dog mom to her sweet pup, Peach.
On the weekends, you can usually find her enjoying Sunday family dinner, spending time outside, or curled up with a good book.
